Froud Wedding - July 2015
Having received a glowing recommendation from one of her close friends, Patricks recently catered for the wedding of Hannah Froud and her new husband that took place on Friday 3rd July at Honeybrook Farm in Wimborne, Dorset.
It was an exceptionally hot and sunny July day for this wedding, but the weather only helped to provide the perfect setting for a truly memorable occasion. It also meant our catering team had to work in very warm conditions throughout the day but this was not a problem. Chris, our head chef here at Patricks, designed a fantastic menu that took into consideration several different dietary requirements and ensured all the guests enjoyed their food from start to finish.
As a new venue for the Patricks Events team, an early start allowed us to finish our preparation and once complete, we began the day serving drinks to all guests upon their arrival. After the ceremony had ended, the wedding party moved outside to take in the glorious sunshine and we kept them entertained with a selection of fantastic canapés.
The meal began with a selection of delicious rustic breads and olives complete with balsamic and olive oil. This was followed by the British classic of roast beef with all the trimmings, something that the bride and groom had always earmarked for the main course of their wedding menu. This afternoon meal had to cater for around 60 guests that had attended the event.
Later that evening, more guests arrived to congratulate the happy couple taking the total number up to around 80, and it was at this point we served our famous hog roast, barbeque and salad selection. Doing this within a marquee environment was also a new experience for Patricks, but our team worked exceptionally well in these unknown conditions.
This was a fantastic day all round – the bride looked beautiful, the guests were well looked after and the new couple were delighted with the service that we delivered.
They even presented our team with a bouquet of flowers to say thank you for a truly brilliant wedding occasion, and Patricks are proud to have provided a day where nothing was too much for any of our staff.
